WEST ALEXANDRIA – Twin Valley South beat Mississinawa Valley by 1 point in Cross County Conference boys basketball action Friday night.
Mississinawa Valley and Twin Valley South were tied 12-12 through one quarter and 26-26 at halftime. South took a 39-33 lead in the third quarter, and MV’s comeback attempt fell just short in the fourth as the Blackhawks lost 48-47.
Ethan Bowman led Mississinawa Valley with 13 points. Also for the Blackhawks, Kyler Guillozet scored 11 points, Trenton Perkins scored 10, Andrew Johns scored 6, DJ Howell scored 4, and Darin Miller scored 3.
Mississinawa Valley fell to 5-9 overall and 2-6 in the CCC with the loss. Twin Valley South improved to 6-10 overall and 5-4 in the conference.
