Greenville girls basketball team wins at Stebbins

RIVERSIDE – The Greenville girls basketball team overcame a halftime deficit to defeat Stebbins 65-58 on Monday.

Greenville led 15-12 through one quarter but trailed 34-28 at halftime. The Lady Wave regained the lead, 44-40, in the third quarter on their way to a 7-point victory.

Cassie Cromwell led Greenville with 18 points in the game. Also for the Lady Wave, Jada Garland scored 10 points, Morgan Gilbert scored 10, Kaylee Jackson scored 8, Karsyn Shaffer scored 8, Payton Brandenburg scored 7, Lani Shilt scored 3, and Saki Nakamura scored 1.

Bryanna Bransford led Stebbins with a game-high 22 points, Madison Cook scored 13, Mackenzie Lingg scored 8, Korina Murphy scored 7, Kristine George scored 6, and Bea Marks scored 2.

Greenville improved to 8-10 with the win while Stebbins fell to 13-5.
