NEW PARIS – Mississinawa Valley lost its lead in the fourth quarter Tuesday night and lost 56-50 to National Trail in a Cross County Conference boys basketball game.
Mississinawa Valley led 15-10 at the end of the first quarter, 23-20 at halftime and 34-32 in the third quarter before National Trail came back to win by 6 points.
Ethan Bowman led Mississinawa Valley with 17 points on Tuesday. Also for the Blackhawks, Trenton Perkins scored 9 points, Blake Scholl scored 6, Andrew Johns scored 6, Matt Slob scored 6, Kyler Guillozet scored 3, Darin Miller scored 2, and DJ Howell scored 1.
Mississinawa Valley fell to 5-13 overall and 2-8 in the CCC with Tuesday’s loss. National Trail improved to 9-10 overall and 5-5 in the CCC.
