Bradford baseball team loses at Miami East

CASSTOWN – The Bradford baseball team lost 5-0 to Miami East in its season finale on Friday.

Miami East scored two runs in the first inning, one in the fourth and two in the sixth while holding Bradford scoreless. The Railroaders had three hits and no errors while the Vikings had 11 hits and one error.

Walker Branson, Bryson Canan and Parker Smith each had a hit for Bradford.

Larkin Painter was charged with the loss as he pitched 4 2/3 innings, allowing three runs on nine hits and two walks. Mason Justice pitched 1 1/3 innings and allowed two runs on two hits and one walk.
