GREENVILLE — The annual 127 Garage Sale is coming up in August, and again the Greenville Boys and Girls Club is participating at 613 S. Broadway Street, in Greenville.

Anyone wishing to donate items to the club for the sale can drop them off at the Boys and Girls Club Monday – Thursday, 4 – 8 p.m. or Saturday, 1 – 4 p.m. All sale proceeds are used towards funding the yearly field trips, such as: the Dayton Dragons, zoo and fishing.

The Boys and Girls club is open to all Darke County kids, ages 7-15. Memberships are only $2 per year, offering: video games; pool and ping pong tables; arts and crafts; wood shop; exercise room with treadmills and weights and cooking class with a full operating kitchen.

“Thanks to Sarah Taylor and Melanie Taylor, friends from Colorado, on their recent cooking class at the Boys and Girls club, where the kids enjoyed making caramel chocolate cake. Also, a big thanks to who volunteered at the recent fishing trip at the Greenville City Park, and the zoo trip at the Fort Wayne Zoo. The club always continues to thank the United Way and all others who contribute to the Greenville Boys and Girls Club,” said a representative.
