Christopher Bell wins The Knight Before the Kings Royal

ROSSBURG – The second night of Kings Royal was Friday at Eldora Speedway, and Christopher Bell won the main event.

Friday night for The Knight Before the Kings Royal, Eldora had six heat races of eight laps each, two club dashes of six laps each, a D Main of eight laps, a C Main of 10 laps, a last chance showdown of 12 laps and then the feature for 30 laps.

This time in the heat races the first three transferred and the top two went to the dash.

In first for heat one was the 1 of Jason Johnson followed by the 21 of Brian Brown in second, third was the 3H of James McFadden, fourth was the 24 of Rico Abreu and fifth was the 5T of Travis Philo.

Taking home the white and black checkered for heat two was the 11K of Kraig Kinser, in second was the 10H of Chad Kemenah, third was the 9 of Daryn Pittman, fourth was the 71 of Joey Saldana and fifth was the 99 of Brady Bacon.

The 18 of Ian Madsen followed by the 14 of Christopher Bell, the 81 of Lee Jacobs, the O7 of Ryan Smith and the 7K of Cale Conley took the top five spots in heat three.

In heat four the 15 of Donny Schatz was victorious followed by the 49 of Brad Sweet in second, third was the17 of Jac Haudenschild, fourth was the 19 of Brent Marks and fifth was the 1ST of Gary Taylor.

Taking home first for heat five was the 2M of Kerry Madsen, second was the 2 of Shane Stewart, third was the 5 of David Gravel, fourth was the 7S of Jason Sides and fifth was the A67 of Brandon Wimmer.

The 49X of Tim Shaffer was followed by the 1S of Logan Schuchart , the 55XM of Dale Blaney, the 41S of Dominic Scelzi and the 12N of Cole Duncan for the top five for heat six.

The Craftsman Club Dash A saw the 21 of Brian Brown in first, second was the 14 of Christopher Bell, third was the 18 of Ian Madsen, fourth was the 41 of Jason Johnson and fifth was the 11K of Kraig Kinser.

Taking home the black and white checkered for Dash B was the 49 of Brad Sweet, second was the 49X of Tim Shaffer, third was the 15 of Donny Schatz, fourth was the 2M of Kerry Madsen and fifth was the 2 of Shane Stewart.

In the D Main the 16 of Chris Andrews won followed by the 11N of Craig Mintz in second, third was the 71M of Paul May, fourth was the 97W of Mitch Wormall and fifth was the 17X of Josh Baughman.

The 19 of Brent Marks won the C Main and was followed in second by the A67 of Brandon Wimmer, third was the 49D of Shawn Dancer, fourth was the 2X of Parker Price-Miller and fifth was the 41S of Dominic Scelzi.

Taking home the checkered flag for the Last Chance Showdown was the 71 of Joey Saldana, second was the 24 of Rico Abreu, third was the 12N of Cole Duncan, fourth was the O7 of Ryan Smith and fifth was the 1ST of Gary Taylor.

The 14 of Christopher Bell took home first place and $12,000 in the feature, second place went to the 15 of Donny Schatz taking home $5,700, third was the 49 of Brad Sweet taking home $3,500, fourth was the 18 of Ian Madsen taking home $3,000 and fifth was the 21 of Brian Brown taking home $2,600.
