Billy Decker wins big block feature at Eldora Speedway

ROSSBURG – The big block feature raced Tuesday night at Eldora Speedway, and Billy Decker won.

There were three heat races, the last chance qualifier and the feature race during Tuesday’s action. In the heat races, which were eight laps each, the top six qualified.

In heat race one the 9s of Matt Sheppard took first, second was the 19 of Tim Fuller, third was the 6h of Max McLaughlin, fourth was the 43h of Jimmy Horton and fifth was the 98h of Jimmy Phelps.

In heat race two taking home the black and white checkered was the 44 of Stewart Friesen, second was the 7m of Mike Maresca, third was the 6m of Mat Williamson, fourth was the 21a of Peter Britten and fifth was the 5h of Chris Hile.

Heat three saw the 91 of Billy Decker in first, second was the 25r of Erick Rudolph, third was the 42p of Pat Ward, fourth was the 20 of Brett Hearn and fifth was the 84 of Gary Tomkins.

In the last chance qualifier, which was eight laps, taking home first place was the 109 of Billy Whittaker followed in second by the 22 of Brandon Walters, third was the 165 of Rex King Jr., fourth was the 99L of Larry Wight and fifth was the 23 of Kyle Coffey.

In the feature, which was 75 laps, taking home the black and white checkered was the 91 of Billy Decker, in second was the 42p-of Pat Ward, third was the 9s of Matt Sheppard, fourth was the 20 of Brett Hearn and fifth was the 21a of Peter Britten.

For the feature Decker started on the pole and held the lead for all 75 laps.
