Franklin Monroe boys golfer Jeremy Bridenbaugh wins medalist honors at the Dan Kendig Memorial

PIQUA – Franklin Monroe’s Jeremy Bridenbaugh shared the medalist honors at Covington’s Dan Kendig Memorial boys golf tournament on Wednesday at Echo Hills Golf Course.

Bridenbaugh, Covington’s Andrew Slusher and Miami East’s Zac Johnson each shot a 6-over par 78 for the 18-hole round to share the medalist honors.

Led by Bridenbaugh, Franklin Monroe finished third in the team standings with a 350 while Versailles finished fourth with a 361 and Arcanum finished eighth with a 393. Fort Loramie won the 14-team tournament with a 340.

Bridenbaugh led Franklin Monroe with his round of 78 while the Jets’ Noah Koffer shot an 84, Bryce Filbrun shot a 90, Jacob Aslinger shot a 98, Dalton Goubeaux shot a 116, and Austin Wolf shot a 134.

Connor VanSkyock led Versailles with an 18-hole round of 82. Also for the Tigers, Preston Platfoot shot an 88, Austin Pleiman shot a 91, Ethan Kramer shot a 100, Alex Keiser shot a 102, and Brayden Robinson shot a 114.

Carter Gray led Arcanum with a round of 94. Also for the Trojans, Cade Brubaker shot a 98, Dylan Lumpkin shot a 100, Cameron Warner shot a 101, Cameron Reed shot a 104, and Trevor Bailey shot a 109.
