“I was so shocked but this is like one of my goals from when I was a little kid so this is really important to me. 4-H has been my life for the past four years, well 11 years, but the last four years 4-H has blessed my life in every way and this is a showing that everything in 4-H has been worth it,” said an excited Hunt.
Matt Slyder (son of Jeff and Julia Slyder) of Ansonia Animal 4-H won the Outstanding 4-H Boy award. He is a member of Ansonia Animal 4-H and attends Mississinawa Valley High School.
“I didn’t think I had a chance of getting this until next year and I honestly thought a different person in our 4-H Club was getting this. I was surprised to get this…” said Slyder.
