Bradford, Mississinawa Valley split junior high volleyball matches

BRADFORD – Bradford beat Mississinawa Valley in eighth grade volleyball while MV beat Bradford in seventh grade volleyball on Tuesday.

Bradford won the eighth grade match 25-12, 25-13.

The Railroaders’ Nylani Beireis had 13 points, 10 aces and two assists. Zoe Brewer had four points, three aces and one kill. Karissa Weldy had four points, three aces and a kill. Rylee Canan had three aces, one kill and four assists. Ally Wackler had one point and two kills. Macy Bubeck had an ace. Katelynne Clack and Maddie Simons both had a kill.

Mississinawa Valley won the seventh grade match 25-15, 25-20, 25-17.

Bradford’s Remi Harleman had 17 points, 13 aces, three assists and three kills. Leah Welch had six points and three kills. Lovena Grillott had six points and three aces. Sarah Beckstedt had two aces. Bella Brewer had two points including an ace.

Bradford will play host to Arcanum at 5:30 p.m. Thursday.
