Greenville boys soccer team defeats West Carrollton for 1st win

WEST CARROLLTON – The Greenville boys soccer team recorded its first win of the season on Thursday, winning 4-1 at West Carrollton.

Greenville got off to a sluggish start and allowed a penalty kick goal nine minutes into the game to trail 1-0 early.

Greenville tied the game in the first game with a Dylan Snyder goal from 30 yards out.

In the second half the Green Wave took control with a hat trick from Tani Mancillas, who has scored five goals in the past three games.

With the win Greenville improved to 1-3-1 overall and 1-1-1 in the GWOC.
