Versailles boys golf team loses to Delphos St. John’s

VERSAILLES – Versailles lost by four strokes, 168-172, to Delphos St. John’s in a Midwest Athletic Conference boys golf match on Thursday at Stillwater Valley Golf Club.

PJ Platfoot and Connor VanSkyock led Versailles as they both shot a nine-hole round of 41. Also for the Tigers, Alex Keiser shot a 43, Will Eversole shot a 47, Austin Pleiman shot a 48, and Brayden Robinson shot a 48.

Adam Gerker from St. John’s was the match medalist with a round of 38. Also for the Blue Jays, Grant Csukker shot a 41, Matt Dickrede shot a 44, Jared Lucas shot a 45, Carson Mullenkamp shot a 48, and Robert Buescher shot a 49.

Versailles fell to 6-3 overall and 5-2 in the MAC with the loss while St. John’s improved to 8-1 in the conference.
