2 Bradford cross country runners finish in the top 10 at the Anna Rocket Invitational

ANNA – Bradford’s Karmen Knepp and Skipp Miller finished in the top 10 on Saturday at the Anna Rocket Invitational cross country meet.

Knepp finished fourth overall in the high school girls with a time of 20:07.2 while Miller finished eighth in the race with a time of 20:29.6. Also for the Lady Railroaders, Olivia Daugherty finished 44th in 22:45.7, Mercedes Smith finished 74th in 23:49.2, and Chelsea Gill finished 92nd in 24:29.3.

Bradford’s girls finished sixth out of 21 teams in the high school girls team standings. West Liberty-Salem won the championship.

The Bradford boys finished 19th out of 24 teams in the high school boys team standings. Lakota West won the championship.

Jay Roberts led the Bradford boys by finishing 27th overall with a time of 18:06.3. Also for the Railroaders, Johnny Fike finished 112th in 19:43.1, Jackson Moore finished 144th in 20:26.2, Ethan Saunders finished 170th in 20:53.2, Kurt Hoover finished 204th in 21:17.9, Shane Bryan finished 260th in 22:29.7, Jared Shellabarger finished 268th in 22:53.2, and Jordan Shellabarger finished 269th in 22:53.2.

Brookville’s Spencer Schick won the high school boys race in 16:55.3, and Elizabeth Stanhope from the Wisdom Builders won the high school girls race in 19:23.0.
