GREENVILLE — Four people were arraigned on various criminal charges Monday in Darke County Common Pleas Court.
Gary B. Williams III, 24, of Union City, Indiana, pleaded not guilty to aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony. He was represented in court by defense attorney Dave Rohrer. Darke County Prosecuting Attorney R. Kelly Ormsby represented the state.
Williams faces up to a year in prison and a $2,500 fine if convicted. He is currently free on his own recognizance. His next court hearing is January 4.
Stoney D. Dynes, 54, of Greenville, was arraigned on a second-degree felony count of felonious assault. He is represented by defense attorney Randall Breaden, with Assistant Prosecutor Deborah Quigley representing the state. He pleaded not guilty to the charge.
Dynes faces up to eight years in prison and a $15,000 fine if convicted. He is free on his own recognizance with a court date scheduled for January 4.
Jordyn A. Cook, 21, of Columbus, Ohio, pleaded not guilty to two fifth-degree felony charges — aggravated possession of drugs and possession of LSD. Breaden represented her in court, with Quigley speaking for the state.
If convicted on both counts, Cook could be incarcerated up to two years and pay up to $5,000. She is currently free on her own recognizance. Her next scheduled court appearance is January 4.
Lowell W. Bowers, 37, of Union City, Indiana, pleaded not guilty to seven counts of forgery, all fifth-degree felonies. Common Pleas Court Judge Jonathan P. Hein appointed Breaden to serve as his defense attorney. Assistant Prosecutor James Bennett represented the state.
Bowers could be imprisoned for up to seven years and pay up to $17,500 if convicted on all counts. His next court appearance is January 18. He is free on his own recognizance.
