Franklin Monroe seniors graduate

PITSBURG — The Franklin Monroe Class of 2018 celebrated its graduation Saturday with a welcome from Grace Zimmerman.

Middle School and High School Principal PJ Burgett introduced the Valedictorian Makenzie Kreitzer. She started her speech saying she would not be where she was without her parents. She left her classmates with a message about what it will take to follow their dreams.

“No matter what our goals our, we must be willing to sacrifice our time, our body and our mind,” Kreitzer said.

Kreitzer will attend Taylor University to major in business. Salutatorian Kyle Ressler will attend the University of Kentucky to major in engineering.
