Arcanum and Bradford will celebrate Homecoming this week.

Both teams are coming off losses with the Trojans narrowly falling to Bethel 21-20 last week, while Bradford continues in search of its first win of the season after losing to Tri-Village 46-21.

Darke County winners last week were Ansonia 56-36 over Mississinawa Valley and the aforementioned Tri-Village, 46-21 over Bradford.

Next week, the last two Homecoming games for Darke County will be played. Ansonia will host Twin Valley South and Versailles will host New Bremen.

Here’s a look at this week’s matchups.

Last week: Vandalia Butler 37, Greenville 21; Piqua 14, Sidney 12

Outlook: Greenville has gone back-and-forth each week since winning its first tow games. After losing last Friday, the Green Wave should be due for a ‘W’ against the Indians.

Last week: Ansonia 56, Mississinawa Valley 36; Fort Loramie 52, Twin Valley South 6

Outlook: The Blackhawks have a similar kind of offense as this week’s opponent. Both are pass heavy and after losing to rival Ansonia last week, Mississinawa Valley will be looking to upset the top team in the Cross County Conference.

Up next: National Trail at Mississinawa Valley (Oct. 12), Fort Loramie at Tri-Village (Oct. 12)

Tri-County North at Arcanum

Up next: New Bremen at Versailles (Oct. 12), Marion Local at Minster (Oct. 12)
