VERSAILLES – The Versailles FCCLA members participated and competed at the State Leadership conference in Columbus, Ohio on April 25 and 26. The theme for the conference was Believe in Yourself.

The following students received their Power of One Awards: Malia Wise, Chloe Vogel, Payton Henry, and Elli Morris. The following members competed at the state level events: Earning silver were Jenna Mangen and Haley Mangen in Career Preparation Advocacy; Allison Reed and Madelyn Vogel received a sliver in Career Preparation-Entrepreneurship; Skyler Clume participated in Environmental Ambassador and received a bronze, Larissa Jones participated in Career Preparation – Teach and Train received a bronze.

The members attended several workshops and listened to various speakers during the two day event. The members stopped on the way home at Children’s Hospital-Ronald McDonald House and delivered pop tabs and blankets that the members made for the children at the hospital.
