GREENVILLE – Did you know that Honey Bees are not native to North or South America. They are a happy accident brought here by early colonists.

Rick Root has over 50 years experience with bees and has kept as many as 30 hives. Root will present the basics of bee keeping, including the ever changing challenges that affect apiaries and his experience in capturing swarms to repopulate his hives.
