Michael Silver and Karen Door, both of Eaton, won the jitterbug contest at Monday’s Memory Lane Dance at the VFW in Greenville. The couple, who have danced off and on since 1959, won a gift certificate to Sharp’s in Palestine for their performance. The theme for this week’s dance was “At the Hop” featuring 1950s and 1960s tunes played by deejay Tom Everhart.
