Versailles FFA hosts Fall Harvest Sale Sept. 25

VERSAILLES —The Versailles FFA will be hosting a Harvest Fall Sale/Farmers Market on Saturday, Sept. 25, from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Versailles Schools in tents outside the school, near the auditorium area.

Stands that will be placed at the Farmers market/Fall harvest sale will include FFA members Phillip and Lauren Grogean will be selling honey and creamed honey as part of their SAE; Levi, Delaney and Eden Barga will be selling goat soap and goat ice cream as part of their SAE; Mallory and Danica York will be selling mums as part of her SAE; Maggie McGlinch will be selling eggs and cover crops and compost for gardens as part of his SAE; Paige Gehret will be selling pumpkins as part of her SAE.

Additional confirmed vendors include King and Sons Poultry, offering a full line of fresh, frozen and canned chicken products; Downing Fruit Farm will be offering apples and cider; Laura Schwieterman will have a full line of sewn products; Jodi Kremer of KJ Kreations will be selling personalized pillows, tumblers, shirts and spirit wear; Joan Grilliot will be offering an assorted of homemade desserts; Monica Goubeaux will be representing Mary Kaye; Matt and Morgan Aultman of Aultman Farms will be selling Pumpkins and Gourds; Sue Christian will be selling silk flower arrangements representing Grandma’s Sue’s Flower Creations; Emily Clark representing Crazy Train Creations will have decorative t-shirts and making t-shirts “on the spot”; Deanna Hesson will be selling wooden signs; Kayla Bohman of Kayla’s creations will have Coffee mugs, personalized water bottles, fall decorations, baby sippy cups, earrings and more; Chris Hinton will be selling toys and wooden barns; Jan Smith of Teal Dog boutique will be selling root candles, Cait + Co Body Bath Products and Bee products from the Sea Skincare Line; Bob Frye will be selling hand crafted tables and chair sets, rocking horses, wooden barns and more; Bowman Produce will have a full line of vegetables and fruits.

Confirmed presenters will include James Grogean at 9 a.m. who will speak about honey; Susan Ballinger of Nature Reflections who will present “Spicing up with Pumpkins”at 10 a.m., which will focus on using items at home to make great arrangements; and Midmark/Silas’ new executive chef Aaron Allen will perform a cooking demonstration at 11 a.m. All three presenters will be under the tents.

A lunch stand that will feature soup, sandwiches and baked goods will also be available. Free craft bag for the kids to take home. The market will begin at 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Versailles Schools, 280 Marker Road, Versailles, Ohio 45380 located in tents near the Versailles Auditorium. Hope to see everyone there!
