GREENVILLE — In a WOAC match up, Ansonia High School boys’ golf defeated Bradford 185-197 at White Springs Golf Club on Aug. 23.
Owen Locke led the Tigers with a 43. Will Kammer and Garrett Brown both shot a 47. Maverick Sanders and Devin McKenna both shot a 48. To round out the team, Byron Young had a 54 and Luken Longenecker had a 71.
For Bradford, Dalton Branson led the Railroaders with a 43. Landon Wills was second with a 50. Close behind, Dalten Skinner shot a 51 and Landon Monnin shot a 53. Both Treyl Manuel and Landon Helman shot a 54.
Ansonia is now 3-2 on the season with a 2-1 conference record. This was Bradford’s first one-on-one match and are now 0-1.
