Darke County Deputies and Versailles Fire and Rescue responded to the scene.

VERSAILLES — On Feb. 23, at approximately 3:58 p.m., Darke County Deputies along with Versailles Fire and Rescue responded to the area the Seibt Road near Barnes Road for an injury motorcycle crash.

A preliminary investigation revealed a black 2013 Harley-Davidson V-Rod operated by Aaron Allen 42, of Piqua was traveling westbound on Seibt Road and failed to negotiate a curve causing him to lose control and travel off the right side of the roadway into the ditch. Allen was transported to Upper Valley Hospital for his injuries.

This accident remains under investigation by the Darke County Sheriff’s Office.
