VERSAILLES — The Tri-Village High School girls basketball team is heading to the District final after a 73-23 win over Tri-County North on Feb. 22 at Versailles High School.
Senior Torie Richards led the team with 20 points on 8 of 14 shooting. Richards also made four three-point shots in the game. Senior Rylee Sagester had 12 points. Senior Morgan Hunt and freshmen Sydnee DeLong and Kynnedi Hager all had 11 points.
The team went 12 for 23 from three-point range, 52.2%. They were also 11-15 from the free throw line.
Tri-Village will next play at Troy High School on Feb. 25 at 11 a.m. against the three seed in Fayetteville-Perry in the District final.
