Court recap ending Aug. 18

GREENVILLE — For the week ending August 18, the Court considered and decided the following notable matters.

Kelly Limmer pled guilty to Aggravated Possession of Drugs, a felony of the third degree. Judge Fliehman sentenced Limmer to 90 days in jail and payment of restitution and court costs.

Sarah Burkhart previously pled guilty to three counts of Endangering Children, all felonies of the third degree. Judge Fliehman sentenced the defendant to 90 days in jail, as well as a community control sanction of 60 months, including 100 hours of community service and supervision by the Adult Probation Department.

Preston Gilbert previously pled guilty to Kidnapping, a felony of the second degree. Judge Fliehman sentenced the defendant to prison: five years minimum to seven and a half years maximum in the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction.

Bryan S. Adkins requested judicial release from prison after serving three of his minimum four year sentence.

Judge Fliehman denied the request for Judicial Release.

Ondre Johnson previously pled guilty to Aggravated Assault, a felony of the fourth degree. Judge Fliehman sentenced the defendant to five to 15 days in the Darke County jail, as well as a community control sanction of 24 months, including 100 hours of community service and supervision by the Adult Probation Department

Bretten Cheadle pled guilty to Aggravated Assault, a felony of the fourth degree, and Disorderly Conduct, a misdemeanor of the fourth degree. Sentencing is

scheduled for Oct. 2.

Kirk Weist pled guilty to Domestic Violence, a misdemeaor of the first degree. Sentencing is scheduled for Oct. 2.

Benjamin Smith pled guilty to Aggravated Possession of Drugs, a felony of the fifth degree, and Failure to Appear, a felony of the fourth degree. Judge Fliehman sentenced Smith to 60 days in the Darke County jail.

A bench trial was conducted in State of Ohio v. Anthony Beckman. The Court found the Defendant guilty of receiving stolen property, a felony of the fourth degree. Sentencing is scheduled for Sept. 18.
