YELLOW SPRINGS – The Ansonia girls basketball team traveled to Yellow Springs Saturday and came away with a 46-41 win.

Brooke Neal led the Lady Tigers with 17 points while Bailey Stammen scored 14 and Abby Helmke added 11.

Stefani Garrett dished out seven assists and added three steals. Stammen and Aliya Barga had seven and four rebounds, respectively.

The win brought the Tigers to a 4-2 season record. They are 2-0 in the Cross County Conference.

Ansonia will be in conference play at home Thursday night against Newton and on the road Saturday in a boys and girls game at Riverside.
