HAGERSTOWN, Ind. – Ansonia traveled to Wayne County, Indiana, Monday night to take on recently crowned county champions Hagerstown Tigers.
The Ohio Tigers prevailed 46-45 in a closely fought contest. Brooke Neal led Ansonia in scoring with 14 points, Bailey Stammen added 12, Abby Helmke scored nine and Jailyn Thwaits added eight.
The win puts Ansonia at 8-6 on the season. The Tigers will be back in action on Thursday at home in a conference matchup with National Trail.
