Greenville boys tennis team defeats Chaminade Julienne

GREENVILLE – The Greenville boys tennis team beat Chaminade Julienne 4-1 on Friday.

Chaminade Julienne’s lone win came at first singles where Carlos Estrada-Sanchez beat Greenville’s Noah Haupt 6-1, 6-0.

Greenville swept both the second and third singles matches 6-0, 6-0. In second singles Craig Manges beat Will Marshall and in third singles Quintin Muhlenkamp beat Brandon Cullins.

In first doubles Greenville’s Alex Lance and Tyler Davis beat CJ’s Alex Jennison and Cameron Woodard 6-3, 7-5. In the second doubles match the Green Wave’s Austin Grote and Josh Smith beat Graham Curry and Andrew Hartley 6-3, 6-2.

Greenville improved to 2-1 with the victory while Chaminade Julienne fell to 2-2.

The Green Wave won the junior varsity match 5-0.

Greenville will travel to Tippecanoe on Monday.
