Autism Awareness Month presentation set

PIQUA — April is National Autism Awareness Month. To shed light on this important issue, the Diversity Committee at Edison State Community College has invited Dr. Erendira Garcia-Lopez from the Office of Disability Services at Wright State University to give a presentation titled “Autism Spectrum Disorders and Higher Education.”

The presentation will be held on Wednesday at 12:30 p.m. in room 456 on the Piqua campus.

Dr. Lopez-Garcia is the associate director of clinical training at Wright State University, whose key responsibilities include psychoeducational assessments, providing student supervision for the School of Professional Psychology, and leading the Autism Spectrum Support Program.
