More than 500 compete in Versailles’ Poultry Days 5K

VERSAILLES – More than 500 runners and walkers competed in the Poultry Days 5K Run/Walk on Saturday morning in Versailles.

The race included competitors from 6 to 82 years of age. It also involved people from across Ohio and across the country including competitors from Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, Tennessee and Wyoming.

Tony O’Connor from West Chester was the overall race winner, finishing the 5K in 17:10.3. Bobby Wiltshire finished second in 17:42.1, Libby Long finished third in 18:58.3, Jill Kanney finished fourth in 19:17.7, and Brooks Blakeley finished fifth in 19:42.1.

Miriam Geret was the winner in the 10 and younger girls division in a time of 26:08.7, Brooke Briscoe finished second in 27:30.1, and Brynn Briscoe finished third in 27:30.3.

Jace Watren won the boys 10 and younger division with a time of 21:49.9, Owen Stuckman finished second in 22:12.2, and Levi Johnson finished third in 23:09.7.

MacKenzie Bohman won the 11-14 girls division in 23:03.8, Arianne Garrison finished second in 23:28, and Mia Robillard finished third in 23:30.

James Overholser won the boys 11-14 division with a time of 20:42.8, Jarrett Petitjean finished second in 21:43.6, and Cameron Broadfoot finished third in 23:22.7.

Kara Spitzer won the girls 15-19 division in a time of 25:08.6, Kenia McEldowney finished second in 26:01.4, and Maggie Broadfoot finished third in 27:34.1.

Brooks Blakeley won the boys 15-19 division with a time of 19:42.1, Keaton Broerman finished second in 21:00.7, and Kyle Wuebker finished third in 24:34.1.

Jill Kanney won the women’s 20-24 division in 19:17.7, Julia Bruns finished second in 22:54.3, and Brooke Pothast finished third in 24:00.8.

Tony O’Connor won the men’s 20-24 division in a time of 17:10.3, Ethan Hoening finished second in 19:45.6, and Austin Bergman finished third in 23:57.1.

Chelsea Halderman won the women’s 25-29 division with a time of 21:22.1, Kaila Cramer finished second in 21:41.9, and Natalie Oliver finished third in 23:59.9.

Bobby Wiltshire won the 25-29 men’s division in a time of 17:42.1, Kevin Grieshop finished second in 21:49.5, and Stafford Brunk finished third in 22:31.4.

Libby Long won the 30-34 women’s division in 18:58.3, Corinn Gehle finished second in 20:09.9, and Andrea Borchers finished third in 22:24.6.

Matt Ross won the men’s 30-34 division with a time of 20:24.8, Ron Ross finished second in 20:53.9, and Jonathan Sando finished third in 22:16.6.

Angela Robillard won the women’s 35-39 division in 21:51, Charlotte Chang finished second in 23:05.1, and Holly Fiora finished third in 23:17.4.

Joe Raterman won the men’s 35-39 division in a time of 20:19.6, Jeff Reed finished second in 22:33.3, and Mike Hoying finished third in 22:44.8.

Crystal Barton won the women’s 40-44 division with a time of 22:17.8, Carolyn Iddings finished second in 22:32.1, and Julie Magoto finished third in 24:38.2.

Dave Broerman won the men’s 40-44 division in 20:15.9, Justin Marshall finished second in 20:58.8, and Joe Hoover finished third in 21:54.8.

Kathy Sullivan won the women’s 45-49 division in a time of 24:51.1, Vicky Centers finished second in 28:55, and Sheri Broadfoot finished third in 30:05.4.

Craig McEldowney won the men’s 45-49 division in 22:17.9, Robert Fraley finished second in 26:10.5, and Jamie Nolte finished third in 26:43.2.

Kat Unger won the women’s 50-54 division with a time of 23:16, Shelly Haber finished second in 25:06.4, and Connie Kohn finished third in 28:00.

Chuck Blinn won the men’s 50-54 division in a time of 19:51.3, Scott Snell finished second in 21:58.5, and Bill Haber finished third in 23:12.8.

Cheryl Collins won the women’s 55-59 division in 26:15.6, Connie Harshbarger finished second in 26:56, and Elaine Tingler finished third in 28:58.1.

Rick Moody won the men’s 55-59 division in a time of 20:23.9, Dan Weaver finished second in 22:45.9, and Ron Sherck finished third in 23:39.3.

Lou Ann Henderson won the women’s 60 to 64 division with a time of 26:25, Terry McCann finished second in 28:16.1, and Bobbie Stahl finished third in 31:33.4.

Richard Barton won the men’s 60-64 division in a time of 22:05.1, Ivan Steinke finished second in 25:13.3, and Dan Stahl finished third in 25:14.8.

Rebecca Shumaker won the women’s 65-69 division in 32:45, Patty Griffiths finished second in 37:45.7, and Brenda Nickol finished third in 41:01.7.

Randy Bashore won the men’s 65-69 division in a time of 26:23.5, Ron Griffitts finished second in 27:55.4, and Allen Griffiths finished third in 35:46.4.

Betty Warwick won the women’s 70 and older division in 32:54.9, Marty Schipfer finished second in 45:01.4, and Joyce Munchel finished third in 1:07:54.4.

Dale Guingrich won the men’s 70 and older division with a time of 29:19.6, Leon Burk finished second in 32:37.2, and Dan Schipfer finished third in 42:24.3.
