CELINA – The Greenville boys golf team finished 15th at the Celina Invitational on Friday at the Celina Lynx Golf Club.
Kalida won the 18 team tournament with a score of 319, Wapakoneta finished second with a 328, Liberty-Benton was third with a 329, St. Marys placed fourth with a 331, Lima Shawnee was fifth with a 335, Defiance finished sixth with a 340, Anna was seventh with a 343, Delphos St. John’s placed eighth with a 347, Lima Bath was ninth with a 349, St. Henry finished 10th with a 355, Kenton was 11th with a 366, Elida placed 12th with a 369, Van Wert finished 13th with a 370, Ottawa-Glandorf was 14th with a 376, Greenville finished 15th with a 389, Celina was 16th with a 408, Coldwater placed 17th with a 431, and Marion Local finished 18th with a 435.
Jason Shields and Connor Null led Greenville with a 93 for the 18 hole round. Also for the Green Wave, Andrew Kiryluk shot a 99, Logan Gonzalez shot a 104, and Matt Hounshell shot a 108.
Kalida’s Jeffrey Knueve was the tournament medalist with a round of 70.
