Bradford boys basketball team loses at Houston

HOUSTON – The Bradford boys basketball team lost 56-40 at Houston on Tuesday.

Houston led 18-17 at the end of the first quarter and 37-24 at halftime. The Wildcats increased their lead to 47-32 in the third quarter on their way to the 56-40 victory.

Alex Swabb led Bradford with 14 points in Tuesday’s game. Also for the Railroaders, Josh Phillips scored 8 points, Parker Smith scored 8, Walker Branson scored 5, Dialaquan Millhouse scored 3, and Mason Justice scored 2.

Cameron Arnold led Houston with a game-high 16 points. Also for the Wildcats, Howie Ludwig scored 13 points, Caleb Sluss scored 9, Sage Bryant scored 6, Isaiah Beaver scored 4, John Leist scored 4, and Cameron Via scored 2.

Houston improved to 3-18 with the win while Bradford fell to 2-19. The Railroaders will conclude the regular season on Friday at National Trail.
