UNION CITY – The Mississinawa Valley boys basketball team lost 55-47 to Lehman Catholic on Tuesday.

Mississinawa Valley took a 13-10 first quarter lead but trailed 29-27 at halftime. Lehman increased its lead to 44-39 in the third quarter on its way to an 8-point win.

DJ Howell led Mississinawa Valley with 14 points on Tuesday. Also for the Blackhawks, Trent Perkins scored 13 points, Andrew Johns scored 7, Darin Miller scored 6, Ethan Bowman scored 5, and Matt Slob scored 2.

Mississinawa Valley fell to 7-14 with the loss while Lehman improved to 10-11. MV will conclude the regular season on Friday at Covington.
