NEW CARLISLE – The Greenville boys tennis team won 3-2 on Wednesday, handing Tecumseh its first loss of the season.
In first singles Greenville’s Noah Haupt lost 6-1, 6-0 to Mitchell Foland. In the second singles match the Green Wave’s Craig Manges beat Michael Green 6-3, 7-5. In third singles the Wave’s Branson Leigeber beat John Siroin 6-3, 6-1.
In the first doubles match Greenville’s Austin Grote and Josh Smith beat Christian Hunt and Johan Goksor 6-3, 6-2. In second doubles the Wave’s Aaron Lobenstein and Zach Miller lost 6-3, 6-2 to Scott Sinkhorn and Jacob Lewis.
Greenville improved to 3-0 with the win while Tecumseh fell to 2-1.
In extra doubles matches the duos of Pablo Badell and Josh Galloway plus Eric Price and Victor Livesay won.
