City of Greenville to hold meeting on emergency communication operations


GREENVILLE — Greenville City Council will hold a work session on Thursday, June 8 at 7 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Greenville K-8 Facility at 1111 N. Ohio Street, Greenville, Ohio 45331 in the Commons Area/Lunch room (located in the rear of the property), for the following purpose:

Public participation regarding emergency communication operations within the City of Greenville. Information will be provided during the meeting regarding upcoming changes to 911 Public Safety Answering Points (PSAP’s) as well as a discussion regarding the Darke County Commissioner’s proposal to offer emergency communications (dispatch) at no cost to the city.

As a reminder, no action will be taken on this issue
