Arcanum News: Summer heat is here!

Are you making the most out of the summer? The heat is here, as well as the humidity, and July in Ohio is always especially HOT! As I sit and write this I am reminded that summer is nearly half over, I heard a cicada last evening; the lightning bugs are out in full-force every evening at sunset, and all the wonderful fruits and vegetables are ripening for us to enjoy! There is nothing better than a fresh tomato out of the garden, an ear of corn, and some fresh cabbage for cole slaw! Enjoy the heat, enjoy the fruits and veggies!

The Arcanum Wayne Trail Historical Society wishes to thank the following alumni cheerleaders who participated in our Cheerleader Coffee recently. Thank you to Marilyn Jones Graeff-Franklin; Sue Feitshans Karns Stammen-Monroe; Sharon Etzler Karns-Arcanum; Deb Oswalt Dynes-Arcanum; Janet Brown Rhoades-Monroe; Yula Jean Yohe Munn-Hillis-Monroe; and Barb Puterbaugh Troutwine-Arcanum. Thank you for sharing your collections as well as stories with everyone in attendance.

An old Arcanum cheerleader and/or old Majorette Uniforms was donated to AWTHS; however organizers would like to know who donated it and/or the year because they were left without an acquisition card.
