Bradford cross country runner Karmen Knepp wins at OHSAA preseason invitational

HEBRON – Bradford’s Karmen Knepp won an individual championship at the Ohio High School Athletic Association preseason invitational on Saturday at National Trail Raceway.

Bradford competed in the open races with Knepp winning the girls race in 20:48.7. Skipp Miller finished third in the race in 21:21.20, Livy Daugherty finished 29th in 25:05.10, and Mercedes Smith finished 51st in 27:26.10.

In the boys open race, Jay Roberts led Bradford by finishing 38th overall in 19:49.20. Also for the Railroaders, Jackson Moore finished 63rd in 21:08.10, Kurt Hoover finished 88th in 22:34.10, Ethan Saunders finished 112th in 23:50.50, and Shane Bryan finished 146th in 25:49.30.

Bradford’s boys finished 13th out of 19 squads in the team standings.
