Deadline for election letters

GREENVILLE — The Daily Advocate welcomes letters to the editor for the May 2 Primary Election. There is one contested race on the Republican ballot in the City of Greenville. Two mayoral candidates are hoping for the Republican nomination to be on the General Election ballot in November. There is also a property tax issue on the ballot for the Wayne Township Ambulance/Fire District.

The final Daily Advocate edition for letters to the editor will be April 29. Letters must be received no later than Wednesday, April 26, noon. Letters can be emailed to [email protected], mailed to or dropped off at 100 Washington St., Greenville, Ohio 45331.

Only one letter from an individual will be accepted every six weeks. Letters must have the person’s name, address and phone number. The address and phone number is for verification purposes only and will not be published.

Due to space limitations, letters to the editor will not appear in The Early Bird. Letters can also be seen on the Daily Advocate/The Early Bird website – www.dailyadvocate.com.
