GREENVILLE — “Charlotte’s Bell: A Royal Tragedy” book-signing is set for 1 p.m. June 11 at Lynn and Tennessee Hamilton’s KT Plum International Foods Store, across from the Maid-Rite in Greenville.

The signing will begin with a brief talk by the authors, Marilyn J. Lease-Fritz and Betty J. Lease-Brodrick on their great-grandmother Charlotte Adeline Meir-Leis who was one of Darke County’s most notable pioneer women and dedicated within the founding of the Wakefield Lutheran Church her entire life.

During her seniors years, Charlotte paid the ultimate sacrifice of devotion for her family within their cabin upon the Leis-Lease Homestead location of Greenville, community of Wakefield, Ohio.

The great-granddaughters, as authors, have therefore dedicated their novel on the Charlotte A. Meir-Leis Legacy. The book will be available for sale, and light refreshments will be served.
