Arcanun Village Council announces January meetings

ARCANUM — The Village Council will hold two meetings to begin the new year: Tuesday, Jan. 11 at 7 p.m. and Tuesday, Jan. 25 at 7 p.m. The public meetings will be held at 309 South Albright Street, Arcanum.

CBC ramps up donation incentives

DAYTON — Community Blood Center is counting on you in 2022. January is national and Ohio Blood Donor Awareness Month. Commit to giving blood at the Ohio Donor Month Kickoff Blood Drive from Sunday, Jan. 2 through Jan. 7 at the Dayton CBC Dayton Donation Center, 349 South Main Street, Dayton.

Keeping blood type O in full supply remains a challenge. Many businesses and organizations are not hosting blood drives due to continued COVID-19 related restrictions and conflicts with holiday activities and travel.
