Republican Pig Roast

GREENVILLE — The Darke County Republican Party’s annual Pig Roast will be held on Sunday, Oct. 16 at 3:30 p.m., at the Darke County Fairgrounds in the Youth Building. This annual tradition is an important one for Darke County, as voters can come to meet local, statewide, and national candidates that will appear on the November ballot. Come and enjoy a free barbeque dinner, served by local Republican elected officials— tickets are not required, but encouraged, and can be obtained from any local Republican official. March for Life

COLUMBUS — Darke County Right to Life will be hosting a bus trip to the Ohio March for Life event on Oct. 5. The bus will depart Versailles Knights of Columbus at 8 a.m. on that day and arrive at Capital Square in Columbus at 10:30 a.m. A rally and sack lunch is at 11 a.m. with the March for Life starting at noon. The bus arrives back in Versailles at 4 p.m. T

Tri-County Coin Club Show

WAPAKONETA — Tri-County Coin Club will host its show on Oct. 9, at the Auglaize County Fairgrounds in the Junior Fair Building, 1001 Fairview Drive, Wapakoneta.

This is the Tri-County Coin Club annual coin show. Buy, sell, trade U.S. coins, world coins, currency, silver and gold. There are free appraisals with no obligation. The show features up to 30 tables. Admission is free. There is security on the premises. Event hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
