DES MOINES, IA — Versailles graduate Sam Prakel is now a world record holder. Prakel’s time of 4:01.21 at the USATF Road Mile Championships is a road mile world record.
Prakel’s record time earned him a second national title back in April in Des Moines, Iowa.
